ZERMATT UNPLUGGED 2023

Earlier this year, we were invited to return to Zermatt Unplugged for the second year in a row, to capture more breathtaking live sessions set against the majestic backdrop of the Swiss Alps. We produced five captivating films with the aim of giving our audience a glimpse of the magic that goes on at this wonderful festival.
Every year artists from all over the world flock to Zermatt Unplugged to perform in the high altitude ski town. The line-ups are right up our street here at Mahogany and this year we ventured to some insane spots to film Mahogany Sessions.

One of the highlights of our trip was capturing a session inside an ice cave, only accessible by helicopter, where the temperature plummeted to a bone-chilling -10 degrees. Despite the challenging conditions, Bongeziwe Mabandla delivered an incredible performance and we can’t wait to share the session with you.

We also recorded some other unforgettable sessions with talented artists, Australian singer-songwriter Kim Churchill teamed up with saxophonist Felipe Baldomir, fingerstyle guitar maestro Steph Strings and folk band Bear’s Den. We even had a surprise appearance from the wonderful Blair Davie and of course, we couldn’t miss another exceptional performance from The Teskey Brothers. You can find all the sessions below.
